Sunday Stamps - A Religious Theme

I also found it difficult to find stamps for Easter or on a religious theme if I excluded Christmas stamps. I finally came up with these:

St Francis talking to the birds (on the left)

A Madonna (I hope) from Sweden

St Columba who died in 597

Those stamps are great, having written a book set in St. Columba's time, I would love to have had that one.

Why stamps? You a collector?

Althouh I have separate albums for Great Britain and World Stamps I am an accumulator rather than a collector. The Sunday Stamps scene gives me the chance to shake the dust off my accumulation/collections.

Sorry to make it difficult! I didn't mean to. Next week is anything you wish. After that, I think I'll have Poets as a theme, as April is National Poetry month in the USA. Have any Keats or Shelley stamps?

A pretty collection of stamps; the Swiss ones look a though they are stained glass.

I particularly like the St Columba stamp but they are all beautiful. Would that be St Christopher next to St Francis?
