Flowers - Thematic Photography

This is a time of year when our garden and others become quite colourful - so all the flowers I'm showing are growing now.

Primulas
Forsythia
And from another garden -

Blue Muscari
Finally a single bloom from our garden.

Narcissus

To see, if not smell other flowers visit Carmi's thematic-photographic-332.

Your spring flowers are looking really great. You season there is way ahead of us.

Nothing like that here yet.

Beautiful flowers. I am particularly fond of muscari. They never quite make it in the area I plant them but I find volunteers throughout my lawn in the spring. Just a nice little blend to the wildflowers.
I live in the country so having a lush one species grass is not a handicap. I do not mow sections just to enjoy the wildflowers and grasses.

Those are all gorgeous! I love muscari, we have a lot on the patio, but I am trying to get them to expand in a rather tricky border down the bottom of the garden! And the primulas are great. Mr.G cut our forscythia down, but there is a shoot coming up again! :)

Having to start the garden again, after twenty years of letting it look after itself. But have found help, and how lovely the few remaining flowers look. And yes, gargoyles are a wonderful photographic subject. Enjoyed photographing them when working with a class at a local church that led to my book Thin Time. Hope you have as much fun researching as it did.
