A field that I go by regularly has given me a pair of photos that fit Carmi's 'Pairs' theme.
The field has been waterlogged in one corner for several years. This year the heavy rains have extended the flooded area and have made it ideal for visitors like these.

Greenygrey images and pairs theme. Nice.
Mallards are such pretty ducks. They winter over here where I live in Texas.
What a quacking cute post for pairs! I've get to round some up myself. Quickly!
Lovely ducks, drakes are so attractive, not fair to their mates
JO ON FOOD, MY TRAVELS AND A SCENT OF CHOCOLATE
I drove by a drake the other day that was sitting in a water puddle about his same size and mud all around him. He was happy in that ditch.
Wow, they sure have a lot of mud to wallow in!
Never fails to quack me up to find a Mallard on the beach around Tampa...sea water...or even on the river near the bay in brackish water.
These guys are not very discriminating. They're happy everywhere. Will swim among the Muscovies looking for handouts.

Great photos of the ducks. It is really not fair to their mates that drakes are so pretty.
I love ducks! But judging by those on our lake in the park, there are always several drakes with a very roving eye!!
Glad the shingles are better. nasty things, shingles!
I love ducks. The park near my house has a pond that is a perfect spot for getting shots of them. Your pictures are wonderful.
You need a picture of a goose now.
