Look Way Up - Thematic Photography

I know I've shown my first photo before but it fits 'Look Way Up' as well.

Infinity Bridge, River Tees, Stockton-on-Tees
I live in a bungalow and no buildings in the village are higher than two storeys so I have had to shoot what was available.

Twin trunks of Sycamore Tree next door, at the left of our drive
and on the right border with our neighbour (his tree).

Sycamore Tree (our bungalow at back left)
Then just up the lane is this telegraph pole.

Pole serving six telephone lines
It dwarfs the streetlight and has steps to help engineers to reach the top after they have had to 'Look Way Up.'

To see what others have found up there crane you neck over at Carmi's Thematic-photographic-285.

Wow, those are some rich blue skies, especially the last one. Really excellent way up high photos. That bridge is surely very stunning too I can imagine!

Beautiful bridge.

I remember when telephone poles had spikes for the linemen.

Now they all use bucket trucks. And I guess they don't want kids trying those spikes out (like we used to).

Fantastic trees, Bob, and that first shot is stunning.

Gives me a crick in the neck just to look at them, Bob, but some lovely shots. Trees always look so much more imposing when viewed in this way but that bridge shot is stunning, too.

The blue is now permanently seared into my retinas: absolutely brilliant colour and composition, Bob. The bridge shot is especially resonant. I often have trouble finding the right way to capture the trusswork of a bridge. But you've made it look easy here.

Thank you for this!
