We get egrets..Wish I had my camera ready because that was the one and only several years ago... Love your selections minus the squirrel.. I've learned they are such pigs when it comes to bird seed. lol
Hi Bob .. love the pictures - how long ago were you over in Michigan? ..
Cheers Hilary
Hilary, we go over every year. My daughter lives there.
Hi Bob .. makes sense then! How lovely a treat in store each year .. cheers Hilary
It's always my favorite thing Bob when you post photos from Michigan my birth state! Of course these are favorites critters as well...and the reflection of the egret is twice as cool!
Dude, that black squirrel looks tough! Don't mess with him.
I love all the other squirrels, though.
Great shots - do they have white herons in Michigan too? They are very rare here. I love the last shot - he really does look as if he's saying "They're mine!"
I love that black squirrel, beautiful little animal. Nice set of wildlife photos!
Nice wildlife photos.
Don't forget that your reflections post is tomorrow. Spread the word so you get lots of visitors.

Oh, I love those photos! Our herons are officially grey, I think, but look much the same!
But the squirrels are wonderful - I didn't know you could have black squirrels - he is definitely a toughie!
Great photos Bob. I saw my first black squirrel this year. Cute.
I've never seen a black squirrel in my life until my friend Kat, a blogger from Canada posted some photos of "her" black squirrels. I didn't even know they existed. Then suddenly I saw one, just one here in Salem two months back. I was amazed.
Thanks for following my blog and adding me to your G+ circles. I've added you back. Is G+ catching on in the UK? I like it. It seems much "cleaner" than Facebook.
