Please be seated - Thematic Photography

More shots from a morning walk waiting for someone to ask, 'Please be seated.'

A seat tucked away
Roadside bench
This is located on a roundabout, seated here you would breath in exhaust fumes from 1000+ vehicles in a hour.

Much better that you sit in a quiet garden with space for your friends.

Select which view you prefer
You would need to sit down at this bus stop,

with only 6 buses a week
three each Tuesday and Thursday - none in the afternoons.

It's enough to drive you to drink at the Crown.

Pleased to be seated outside
Or perhaps you would prefer to take a few cans home and relax in this garden seat.

I know which one I would chose and not wait to be asked. See others please to be seated at Carmi's thematic-photographic-381.

Signs - Thematic Photography

I have been having trouble loading photos from Google photos since they changed their system. They load in a post OK but visitors to my blog can't see them, especially when the post is shared on Facebook. Even there I can't see them either unless I'm signed in to Google.

So I am trying to upload them differently today.

There are many signs that I see on my daily walk to fetch a newspaper. My daughter will recognise their location I'm sure as she went on the same walk with me when over here recently.

Sign of the times
Not what it seems
When you see this:

No buses!
No shortage of warning signs for drivers
I walk on the other side and it's too early to call in here;

Or wander off down a footpath to the fields.

I must not upset the Governor of the local prison by ignoring his instructions.

A different field opens up other opportunities if I needed a rest.

That sign points to where it's possible for youngsters to get some exercise.

However there is one sign that I take for granted as I pass it frequently.

The sign on our house
It's time I gave it some TLC and repainted it - if only I wasn't so tired from my four mile walk.

I hope you pay attention to the signs you see; check out those shared with us at Carmi's Thematic-photographic-350.

This is my first attempt to join this meme hosted by Ashley Sisk on which we are challenged to take five new photos each week to a theme set by her.

So here goes - the lights say I may proceed.

 1 - Double
A school run under way.

2 - Friday
The War Memorial and Yarm's Town Hall are the place for -

3 - Memories
Litter picking kept me occupied one day this week with a Charity sack to fill.

4 - Busy Day
I may catch a bus in Yarm if I have the time.
5 - Where I Stand
