There was only one Mini Sheet that I could go out and buy - the one to commemorate Andy Murray's Wimbledon win.
Great Britain - Andy Murray, Wimbledon Champion 2013
Looking back on the Mini-Sheets I have this is the only one I have had to buy, so thank you Viridian for forcing me to open my wallet for this.
To see other Mini Sheet offerings cross over to Sunday-stamps-134

lol great set, i was really glad that the british got another champion after a long while :)
I just got my Murray sheet this week. I like their choice of pictures but I don't understand their aversion to issuing international rate stamps as part of it, the shadow shot would have been perfect.
Great stamps. I feel sorry for the female tennis player who won Wimbledon though, see I don't even know her name, nobody celebrated her win like they have Murray's.
After Fred Perry won the Men's title in 1936 four British ladies have won the Ladies' title - Dorothy Round (1937), Angela Mortimer (1961), Ann Jones (1969) and Virginia Wade (1977). Guess there was no celebrity culture then, Jo.
This event made for a great set of stamps. Perhaps the PO were encouraged by the popularity of the Olympic winners stamps.
Hi Bob .. I saw those and resisted the temptation!
But it's great he's been celebrated at last ..
Cheers Hilary
It seems to me that British post has more topical stamps, issued more quickly than US postal Service.
thank you for joining in this week , and I hope it didn't cost too much.
They are great stamps for a great occasion, Bob.
The nice thing about that is that you can actually use those stamps.
Nice souvenir of a momentous day for British tennis and achievement by Andy Murray.
Beautiful set, and a nice reminder I got to do some sports on Sundays.
Wow, these are so amazing, great vibrant stamps of such a delightful experience.
I decided not to indulge in this one. I wish it had been issued a little closer to the time.
