The Chinese New Year - Sunday Stamps (Late)

Thanks to Jo at http://henderson-jo.blogspot.co.uk/ I am able to post a stamp to commemorate the Chinese Year of the Snake.

Canada - Year of the Snake
Jo included a recently issued stamp in one of her recent  posts (stamps-crabs )and kindly volunteered to send it to me after I said that it would be ideal for yesterday's Sunday Stamps. Despite her best endeavours it arrived today (Monday) after our linky list has closed.

I will include a link to it in the comments at Viridian's Sunday-stamps-110. and in the comments I make on other participants blogs.

You're welcome Bob, sorry it didn't arrive in time. I occasionally get interesting stamps from other parts of the world, would you like me to send them on?

I was asking some young Asian friends about the year of the snake and each knew that they were born in the year of the snake and the other was the year of the ox. They were young and really couldn't explain much about what it all meant. That is a cool stamp.

A philosophical mood...it's always interesting to read about interpretations of the Zodiac signs...

It looks as though it has horns, Canada always does great new year stamps. Sounds as though it arrived in the post under its on slither.

Thanks, Jo. I'd be delighted if you would send stamps on. I mainly get ones from USA, and at Christmas from Denmark and Norway. Let me know if there is any UK stuff you want.

It was worth the wait!

I'm happy to hear it will be a time to appreciate the good things in life.
