QEII - Sunday Stamps

I'm not a great believer in flag waving as we can be patriotic without doing that.

For Great Britain  what can be more patriotic at this time than celebrating the Diamond Jubilee.

Queen Elizabeth II - Diamond Jubilee 2012
For other patriots and some flags visit Viridian at sunday-stamps-79.

I really like this set and wish I'd ordered the PHQ cards. I still could, I suppose.

I agree whole-heartedly, Bob, with your stance on flags. And I really love the stamps you chose - all feature really lovely portraits of QEII.

I agree. I believe the most important thing with being patriotic is exercising ones rights, flags or otherwise.

I liked the black and white idea of this set and they chose some charming photos. There seem to be more flags in the shops than on display this year.

I am not much of a flag waver either.
In fact, it sort of annoys me for some reason.

I like this series of the ever smiling Queen.
