Let me introduce you to Rana Clamitans, the American Green Frog. I've posted about him/her twice before but I have only just realised that the series of shots I took would also meet Carmi's theme of 'light.' I can't say this was intentional but this series of pictures was taken on the same day over a short period of time and there may be more than one frog involved.

Oh Mr. Froggie is adorable! What a great post for playing with light!
Nice pics. Lovely greens and blues :)
It's fun to see how the water appears to be different colors in the various shots.
He (or they) is worth re-posting. I wonder if he was seeking a kiss from a princess.
I like those with just his head showing - water and reflection s are lovely!
Hey froggieeeeeee!
Great pictures, looks like one content little green guy.
That frog is quite the show off! Very fun shots!
Ohh frogs are one of my favourite things in the world! Thank you for reposting these, Bob - I loved seeing them. Beautiful colours, so many angles - great!
You reminded me of old memories of fishing in our farm ponds and hearing the old bull frogs croaking and seeing the other frogs floating around in the water. They seemed to be watching us as we fished for bluegills.
all kind of colors forming..blue from the sky, green from the pond..nice..
These are remarkable. I love how you've used varying reflectivity to literally paint radically different scenes. Shows us how powerful light can be if we harness it just so. Which you've done here in spades.
