A-Z Reflections – snoitcelfeR Z-A

I had no idea what I had let myself in for when I signed up for the Challenge, never having entered anything like this before. At the 215 (or was it 216) entry I was amazed to see over 1000 register. That nearly put me off.

I planned to have 5 posts in hand throughout the month, this quickly fell back to 3 – Easter nearly saw me quit.

The main negative for me was trying to read too many blogs each day and after 10 days or so I had to give up searching. Then I discovered the Next Blog and Surprise Me buttons on someone else’s blog and they led me to a wider set of Challengers.

However this meant I was unable to comment on every blog I visited.

Another disappointment was the number of entrants who didn’t. I‘d love to know how many actually completed the challenge.

My followers increase by 66% and by the end I had made it past 100. My thanks to all that joined me.

I was honoured to received three awards – I didn’t know they existed before. Thanks for those and also to Elizabeth Mueller for the laughing Zebra at the end.

Would I do it again? Yes – probably, but like many I would have to trim the length of some of my posts.

Finally congratulations and grateful thanks to Arlee and the ‘gang’ who organised the whole shebang. You did/are doing a great job.

All I can say is well done, Bob. Even if I had the time, I don't think I'd have had the staying power.

Wish you would get rid of the robot verification thingy though, you know it makes me crazy!!!

Yay, we did it. We got through to the end. I had the same problem trying to comment and get round to other blogs. It wasn't possible to visit everyone but it's been great commenting on your posts... I will return!

Congrads on those awards, Bob. We did it! Wow! I loved ALL of your posts too. And so glad to know you.

I'd love to know how many made it through too. I know two who did. *wink*

Well done Bob. I must say I have noticed your comments on quite a number of other blogs so I think you've done pretty well!

Yep, we made it. Quite a journey hey! I'm glad I did it, but had similar frustrations, and I found so many interesting blogs I can't possibly keep up with all the amazing people out there. sigh. Now we can enjoy a well earned rest. Sue

Hi Bob,

Congratulations! You did great. I know it wasn't easy. I didn't have a hard time with it because I have so many pictures, but by "W", I was getting pretty tired of it for some reason. I tried to tie the letter of the day in with a meme if I was doing one. It was funny, because the last 4 or 5 days, the letters did match what I wanted to do anyway.

Take care, and I'll see you on Saturday! I have a really cool Sepia Saturday post planned out for this week.

Congratulations on making it through the challenge!

I came across people who weren't participating, too. I wish all the links led to blogs with Challenge posts--but I found so many new people it was definitely worth going through the list. :)

That was a remarkable challenge! Well done! I didn't realise what was happening until well into it but I'm not sure I could have done it anyway.

I think the commenting is always something of a sticking point, even in smaller circles.

I was also disappointed by the number of people who signed up and didn't participate. But I thin far more did do it. I was pleased with finding so many new blogs that are interesting and informative.

I guess I missed you since I wasn't following which now I am. It was rather overwhelming after a point and I eventually abandoned following the link in order. If you were only at 215 then I didn't make it far sequentially though I visited hundreds from my comments and the "Surprise Me" button.
Glad you had a mostly positive experience with it and thanks for trying the Challenge.

Don't forget to pick up your Winner's Badge at my site.

I'm still trying to visit all the A to Z bloggers who participated. Also trying to spread the word that I'm giving away a $25.00 gift certificate from amazon.com (chosen from those leaving comments) if I reach 300 followers by May 14th. Come join the fun: http://patriciastoltey.blogspot.com

Congrats on making it I'm just making it here through the blog hop. Hope to see you around.

Dang it! Blogger just ate my long comment. Grrr. Anyway, as I was saying, it was overwhelming to visit so many and still post on time that I decided April was for writing and May for visiting. I didn't get through them all in May, so Shannon @ The Warrior Muse and I are joining forces in another challenge. We're going to visit and comment at each of the participants, starting with the reflections post. We hope you'll join us!
