Sunday Stamps - Mother and Children; Great Britain

The Queen addressed the nation at 9 pm on the 75th anniversary of VE last Friday at exactly the same time that her father (George VI) on VE Day in 1945.

It seemed appropriate for me to show these stamps today.

• Elizabeth II State Opening of Parliament 2012
• The Queen with Prince Charles and Princess Anne 1952

Royal Couples - Sunday Stamps

For Viridian's theme of birth, marriage, death and other life changes I have selected three royal couples to show. Two of the marriages were not to last.
