I thought it was time I showed some stamps from Great Britain. 'L' has given me the opportunity to go back to 1963 with the 9th International Lifeboat Conference in Edinburgh.

I like the word you chose. But it's somehow weird to see the portrait of the queen with these illustrations...
I've never seen the high value of that set. Happily its not sou'wester weather this weekend.
as I was working on a ship last year its really interesting to see the difference, or rather progress in life-boats
