Three pictures of the fence which forms one side of the'corral' behind my daughter's house. Her dogs have free access to the 'corral.'
It keeps other creatures out, including this visiting dog.

Boundary fence |
Some visitors will always raise a bark, if the dogs see them that is.
Deer fence
It would not need to be so high to keep out creatures like this.
Snapping turtle |
I guess he could dig underneath it if he wanted to.
Nevertheless this fence has proved its worth and earned its place in a post here at

I love all three shots with different critters.
I love the turtle, it looks quite old to me :)
The fence is fine, too ;)

Reminds me of the fence we had in North Carolina. Never did see any deer although we knew they were about.
all good reasons to have a good fence! thanks for linking in, bob!
Protective fences are very important.
the snapping turtle is a dangerous animals.
I'm glad it's behind a fence, but they do not want to break out.
I come visiting you from "Good Fences"
Have a nice day
Greetings from Germany
The deer could cross that fence in a simple jump but I bet that dog helps to scare them away from the area. I had a turtle once that escaped an aquarium because the rain filled the tank full outside. He floated to the top and crawled away. I never found him as he headed to a river somewhere. I tell people he ran away but of course he doesn't run, just slowly crawled off going under the dog fence apparently with ease.
What a pretty place to roam, and I can bet that turtle is enjoying himself, or would it be herself, who knows for sure, but it's a perfect setting!
Big smile
Bob good fences indeed.
Reminds of the dog that will come a-visiting my house this afternoon. :-)
That's a lot of creatures trying to get in! Nice pictures!
A hard workng fence indeed...:)JP
What a variety of creatures visited that fence.
