I suspect that many of us this week will be showing flowers of one sort or another in Carmi's 'In the Pink' theme.
I had some dahlias in a post on summer last week but had to take another shot to show a bank of pink.

Dahlias at the roadside |
I often have trouble judging what is light red and what is pink but in our garden I can always ask.
 |
Sweet Pea |
In the village this seems to be a favourite flower, although it depends on the type of soil to have whether it is blue or pink.
 |
Hydrangea |
Elsewhere there are pot and pots of these:
 |
Geraniums |
We even have a few but no bush that has blooms like this.
I just have to find out what it's called.
At this time of year it's difficult to stay 'in the pink' as this fallen apple shows.

While others work at staying fit.

"The very pink of perfection." |
It's not necessary that "She Stoops to Conquer." After all she can show anyone the way to Goldsmith's works.

You had a lot of pink fodder
:O)
I could never grow hydrangeas. Did you know you can change the colour by sticking a rusty nail in the ground by them or pouring a bottle of ink into the soil?
We have 'nailed' ours, Jo!
So I can turn my white hydrangea to pink with a rusty nail? I will try next spring. Love the "In the Pink" photo of such a fit woman!
Bob, thanks for the hydrangea tip. Sweet pea is one of our garden favorites. Thank for sharing.
A wonderful selection of pinkness, Bob.
Lovely pink shots! At least your apples start red/pink pours are just wizened specimens! And our hydrangeas are very blue! Acid soil here.
I like those sweet pea flowers a lot.

Oh my Bob, the very pink of perfection is just right on! Great photos of flowers as we know are a great source of pink, but can we ever get enough of them? No we can't! Great gads yours are all lovely too, especially the potted flowers!
