The Queen addressed the nation at 9 pm on the 75th anniversary of VE last Friday at exactly the same time that her father (George VI) on VE Day in 1945.
It seemed appropriate for me to show these stamps today.

These are great - so interesting that more than one person chose the British royal family this week.
I've never been so fond of the Queen stamps cos most often they are boring definitives, but these fall into the category of the ones that I actually like, esp. that last one!
I always enjoy historic photos. I wonder what they were looking at in the last one.
