Every year I get Christmas post from Norway, a country in which I once worked for almost 10 years. In the last two years the stamps on the envelopes, first issued in 2015, have shown Norwegian lighthouses.

Kvitsøy is the oldest octagonal lighthouse in Norway dating from 1829. Slåtterøy dates from 1859.

A bright sunny day and a lighthouse, perfect.
These are great, Bob. Nice to see two different styles.
I like the white octagonal lighthouse. The straight line of windows seem unusual - I would have expected them to be staggered.
I really wouldn't mind to have those in my collection!
