Gardens change so rapidly at this time of year; snowdrops and daffodils have come and gone, along with most of the tulips too.
And just for Gilly as I got it wrong before -
Definitely not a primula this time.
No hens and chickens to show as in Carmi's Thematic-photographic-411-gardens-galore.
White tulips survive |
The apple tree is in full bloom -
And wall border plants thrive -
Bluebells appear in unexpected places no matter how often you think you have dug them up,
The small lilac tree is excelling itself this year -
Aquilegia seed themselves everywhere -
A pansy shows its face
Definitely not a primula this time.
No hens and chickens to show as in Carmi's Thematic-photographic-411-gardens-galore.

Goodness Bob you are so lucky and your spring is so wonderful and so ahead of ours!
Bob, nice garden photos, especially the bluebells and pansy. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so envious of your lovely spring garden, Bob. That lilac tree is very pretty indeed.
How lovely Bob. Why would you dig up bluebells? I miss them, and snowdrops too.
Your garden is far in advance of ours! And I thought you were further 'oop north' than we are! Yes, we have bluebells, far too many of them, growing in the cracks of the patio, down the garden, in between other plants, everywhere!
Hi Bob - love the flowers ... there have been some magnificent displays this year ... now thrashed to bits! Cheers Hilary
They are so pretty

Beautiful blooms and beautiful photos of them...
My yard is a wild one with few flowers. Yours are beautiful.
