White - Thematic Photography

Our best wishes go to Carmi and his family as they slowly recover from their recent lost. We welcome back Carmi's thematic photographic theme and the new 'White' target he has set for us.

With snow forecast for us again this weekend my first shots couldn't be more apt.

Kirklevington stream - trimmed with white.
Here's the hope of sun to thaw the snow.

Garden view
Perhaps I'd better hedge my bets a little.

Snow Cap
But further up the lane on a day when the snow had gone the old farm house looks fine.

White House (in the pink)
Still further up the lane is this favourite wall.

I think that calls for a drink while I make my way across to Thematic-photographic-236. Join us there.

Snow-capped Spring! Sounds very familiar... we've got about four more weeks of the white stuff before actual spring makes an appearance.

I like that orb effect on the White House (in pink), Bob.

My most favorite is the house with GREEN (lovely) GRASS! Oh my goodness, winter has been long and much in my neck of the woods, but I know England has had a much more gentle and easy winter! Lucky you BOB!

You seem to be having such a hard winter in the UK - hope that doesn't bode ill for this side of the globe! The shot of the garden sleeping under its white quilt is my favourite.

I love the simple black on white of the Crown Hotel.

Great photos of snow in England! Especially the Snow Cap! It is obvious that the snow does not come with prolonged cold since underneath, the grass seems to be green!

You really got quite a lot of the white stuff in your garden Bob. As bad as here although yours disappears faster. Great pix as usual.

I really don't miss snow at all, but I do like looking at your lovely pictures of it - especially in the sunshine , with a promise of a thaw to come!

Looks very cold. Hope that sunshine comes out and melts that snow quickly so you can enjoy a rampant spring full of blossoms!
