Denmark Christmas Stamps - 2008/2009 |
2010/2011 |
I am hoping to receive a Christmas card with the 2012 stamps before next week so I can show you those as well.
For other Christmas/holiday stamps you will have to catch a reindeer sleigh over to Viridian's Sunday-Stamps-101

What a cheery lot of stamps, Bob. I used to make the heart-shaped sweet holders featured on the left hand 2011 stamp with the children at school when we looked at celebrations around the world.

The 2009 ones are my favourite - they're lovely. I like the handwritten and hand-drawn feel of them.
I used to make those heart shaped paper basket ornaments too, but I didn't know they were for sweets.
Nice Christmas Stamps, we like the tradition.
I am guessing that the characters in the 2010 and 2011 stamps are familiar to Danes...
I am partial to birds, so like those ones best!
I like the birds too, we have some good Christmas stamps here in Canada most years.
Nice stamps. Have a Merry Christmas.
Greetings,
Filip
The heart shaped ornaments still stump me - I have to be sown how to make these, step by step. Fun elves on the stamps!
thank you for joining in this week. Happy holidays to your favorite market stall holder too!
;-)
I love the combination of stamps here...the bottom row is especially giving me a smile on the face :)
They are all lovely of course, but the 2008 ones don't seem especially festive or Christmassy. I'm being picky, I know.
Oh, the cute little Christmas Gnomes!
I like the idea of birds as Christmas stamps, easily seen on winter trees. The Scandinavians seem fond of elves on stamps. I'd like some on ours too. Hope you get your Danish stamp for next week, looks as though they produce some nice ones.
these are a cute series of christmas stamps!
