I bought this FDC just to get my hands on the Daphne du Maurier stamp.
Hope you liked my selection. For more appropriate Mothers' Day cards visit Sunday Stamps 70.

Had a similar though for my entry for this week's Sunday Stamps.
Such a wonderful selection of great women. Frink is my favourite, always wanted to sculpt in bronze!
I do just about remember this series. You're lucky to have your market stall holder, my source for postcards has gone. He used to be especially good for Sepia Saturday.
Hi Bob .. what a great series .. and a very different set of women.
Interesting to read - thanks .. cheers Hilary
'Fraid I only know Fonteyn and du Maurier. I once saw Fonteyn dance, what a wonderful performer.
Interesting stamps.
Great set of stamps, all such interesting women. I'd never heard of Marea Hartman but thats what makes collecting stamps so engaging.
I have heard a couple of those names, but I am not really familiar with any of them.
Sometime you should show us a picture of your "pet market stall." I don't know if we have anything like that here.
fascinating post--just getting around from the challenge!
