Every now and Carmi sets us a theme on which I can't wait to get started.
Nature gives us many small sized creatures including those not for arachnophobes.

This year I have been fortunate enough to come across this in a Cornish wood.

Now that autumn has begun there are some small sized creatures that look for somewhere warmer.

I guess small boys qualify for this theme too.

Sometimes I find cup-shaped items in surprising places.

Perhaps it would be better to be wearing them when trying to assemble the fob for our garage door.

What a great place to wander such a lovely field of green! Lucky you on capturing a live snail too! Viewing your size small stuff was largely wonderful!
I'm in that arachnophobe group; I don't like your spider, but I appreciate the great shot you took of it. The butterfly's lovely too.
I especially like the boy-on-his-own photo. To me,it effectively conveys the joy of solitude.

Love your take on "small"! The shadow of the spider is far more threatening than the actual spider! Lovely Comma - we haven't seen any this year. :(

Beautiful photos, Bob. I have never seen a spider like the one in your photo, and I have always loved snails. I think they represent nature at its best...slow, steady, but they get things done, not needing to stress or hurry. :)
