Village Fences - Good Fences 45

A gate to a house and a double fence, one each side of a footpath skirting a field.

Entrance to Squirrels Leap
If it's curves you want then follow a village lane.

Moles must use an underpass?
In the village itself a rustic arch stands in the middle of a wooden fence.

But only the drive on the right is ever used
However you need a key code to enter through these more formal gates.

Paved drive and a George VI postbox pillar
Elsewhere a neat privet hedge is restrained with 'kisses' on a sunny winter's day.

But did it know that today it would have to brave the snow?

All these fences within a mile of my home qualify to be here at

nice variety! i always like the country views and lanes best, but that city hedge restrained by 'kisses' or xs is very neat!

as for the ranch entrance i showed today, i believe it is the side entrance to the barn area. the main drive to the house is more utilized.

What would I have to do to convince folks to shift themes. Fences EVERY Thursday from EVERYONE. Argh. (Yeah. I'm a whiner)

My suggestion for a theme...uniqueness.

Moles must use an underpass?

I'm sure they do!

Lovely pics, Bob.

Great variety of fences here. I like the curved shot and the humor about the moles.

My favourite is the one with the rustic arch. But I also love all pictures with all this nice green in them :)
Well, all your images are just lovely, not "brutal" like mine :D

Have a fine Sunday afternoon
