In the 1960s Iceland issued a set of wildflower stamps. A simple design but they are quite effective even if I can't name all the flowers.

Even I can recognise the clover and the dandelion.
This year has been a particularly good year for the dandelion on our roadside verges. I'm less enamoured with the huge ones growing in our flower beds.

Yes they are such a pretty design, I like the borders as well. Its always a sign that the flowering season is well underway when the verges are covered with dandelions, if only they would stay there.
I dug up a bunch of dandelions from the lawn yesterday.
Maybe it's a simple design, but I found great beauty on the stamps you have chosen this week...
i find this set gorgeous, sure they are simple in design but maybe thats exactly why they're appealing..!

We've had some dandelions in the backyard for a while now...create a really lovely atmosphere now in spring :)
a pretty set, yes we have plenty of dandelions too, the irony being that when as a child I had rabbits, the dandelions didn't grow in our garden.
I'd say the top row is campanula, daisy, thrift but I could be horribly wrong. I had a Canadian visitor at the weekend who was exclaiming over the lovely daisies in all the local gardens. But she had plenty of dandelions!
