Who would believe that tennis has gone to the dogs?
What do you mean, it's closed? |
It's meant to be an all weather court, isn't it?
Ah well , we'll just have to wait for it to open up.
Scout and Cody |
They might have given me a better seat than this.
Gem - waiting for the match to begin. |
Play in this heat?
Cody and Scout |
You must be having a larf.
Come on, Cody! It's your serve.
Lily's receiving |
Play!
Cody won't be rushed |
Time out.
Bring on the trainer. |

Lovely dogs Bob. Who'd have thought they'd be interested in what was going on at Wimbledon?
You should have taken them back with you. Used to love Wimbledon although never went. Did go the Derby a few times. Wonder if the dogs would enjoy that?
Reminds me of the disgusting chewed up tennis balls our dogs used to enjoy.
What Fine Dogs Bob! They Look To Be Having A Ball!
You are so funny, Bob! I love how you tied the doggies into Wimbledon.
They look hot and tired and as if they can't live without those tennis balls.

Too funny! Our dog loves her tennis ball. She's guards it and plays keep-away. She loves to chase it, but she won't bring it back to us and it's kind of hard to argue with 100 pounds! :)
Cute dogs. They might be useful if you wanted to practice your serve.
Awwww! These are lovely. Our old dog adored his tennis balls. We had a big bag full of them because he was always losing them on the park.
Those are great doggie/tennis pics. I especially like the first one with the ball in his mouth.
Too funny. Great post.

There's nothing better than dogs and tennis balls. They all love them and they're so fun to watch. Enjoyed your doggie tournament!

A dog and his tennis ball -- a perfect match!
Cute photos which made me smile. Thank you.
Bob, oh that is wonderful. Such gracious players. Yes, they love a good game and they are also good ball boys or girls! Love your post.
Bob, a wonderful fun post of the best players ever!
As far as your dogs are concerned, Bob, it's a love game.
Not a big fan of tennis. Love game was delightful. BTW I answered your question in your comment about how to play croquet if you are interested to go back and check. Maybe you were being factitious about the rules because most groups play their own way. LOL

A game of double dogs perhaps, the perfect day out, dogs and balls.
Smart dogs not to play in the heat -- at least the heat we're having in Ohio! Love that Cody. What a handsome face.
Take the theme and run with it, Bob. Very outside the doghouse!
Aw! Such cute dogs! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Bob .. typical rough and tumble of family time .. great shots - cheers Hilary
Hi Daddy! Thanks for sharing the photos of the pack! It's over 100 degrees here today, so no tennis for the dogs. However, Scout is currently asleep with two balls in his mouth...most attractive...Rachel xxxxx.
Bob, these are great! Yes I believe! We have the same kind of balls of delight for our dogs as well! It's always great to see your happy doggies and read your cute little stories!
What a fun twist on the theme. Love your dog pics - they are a cute group!
Great post - I'm always a sucker for anything with dogs at the center!
