Cody takes a bath

The smell was overpowering. Where had Cody been?

By the aroma that was wafting everywhere he had obviously been indulging in his favourite pastime of rolling on the grass. Only this time there must have been deer about..

An immediate bath was called for. At 14 years old Cody knows the routine and sits patiently to be soaped, rinsed and dried - just what is all the fuss about?

Cody being dried
That's better - smelling sweet and no soap in my eyes!

Cody - with a dry tail.

Poor Cody. One thing I always hated, washing the dogs.

Oh what an adorable sweet smelling Cody! Let's go for a run, and dry off!

What a happy looking Cody. It seems as he can certainly be trusted to not turn around and run into the sliding door all wet and shake all over. He must be a great dog.

It doesn't look like he was trying to escape like my two do.

That is a very nice age 14 years. I hope are Golden Retreiver also will have a long life. She is now 1,5 years old.

Greetings,
Filip

Hi Bob .. delighted you're having a great time - even down to your own episode of watching the wash the dog - Cody strikes me as very well behaved .. good for him ..

Enjoy the weekend .. and I hope fewer deer around .. cheers Hilary

Cody looks like a very nice dog who needs a bath once in a while. I have to touch up our Border Collie every once in a while or he can't come into the house.
