Our visit to Newquay Zoo last week turned up two creatures in the pink.

Rose Collared Dove |
If that is not pink enough for you, how about this reptile? I must find out what it is.
At home some flowers that I have shown before.
I don't know what they are either but I do know that they are not 'pinks'.

Hi Bob - glad you went to Newquay zoo ... lovely part of Cornwall. She's a beauty isn't she ... rose collared certainly - he looks like a pink lizard - and when I searched ... lots came up! While your flowers ... I do not know ... cheers - lots of pink plants are flowering at the moment ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI owe you a 'pink' photo
ReplyDeleteThe correct name for the bird is Pink-headed Dove.
ReplyDeleteThe reptile is Jackson's Chameleon.
I love the dove and the chameleon! What wonderful specimens. And I thought that pink in nature only existed in flowers! Thanks for great photos.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that Pink Headed Dove, wonderful pinks! I just got mine up too!
ReplyDeleteBob, enjoyed viewing the Pink-headed Dove. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove the dove! And the chameleon. I think the fowers are some sort of sedum.
ReplyDeleteLove the pinks, especially the lizard. Nature is wonderful isn't it? Not been to the zoo in a long time. Toronto has a great one, but a lot of walking which I cannot do any more.
ReplyDeleteHi Bob, you are right it is what is called a "slo-bowl" for Max. It forces him to eat more slowly because he cannot take it all in one gulp!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful, and the lizard is fascinating!
ReplyDeleteThe chameleon is fascinating, Bob - is the branch pink too, or is it all because of pink lighting, I wonder...
