As I have just acquired another two Malawi butterflies were a natural selection when we had a free choice for Viridian's Sunday Stamps this week.
Apparently there are 14 stamps in this set; one such set was recently sold on eBay - but I don't get involved there.
To see others' choices flit over to Sunday-stamps-127.

Beautiful!I like the Myrina Silenus Ficidula best, though it's easier to say 'The Common Fig-Tree Blue'.
ReplyDeletePretty aren't they? I'm all for Protect Nature.
ReplyDeleteSome of these are really beautiful, Bob, but I seem to think there was once a set of British Butterfly stamps and they were most attractive, too.
ReplyDeleteAnn
a very nice choice for a summer's day :)
ReplyDeleteMy first reaction upon opening your post was to think "fly away with me!"
ReplyDeleteLovely! Thank you for participating.
ReplyDeleteYou are building your set nicely, pretty butterflies. I always like it when they are shown on their favourite plant. AW's comment reminded me that there is a British butterfly set due out in July, don't know which ones they are going to feature.
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted to see stamps from Malawi - I was brought up there!
