In the Pink - Sunday Stamps

I did not have to look far this week as I had stamps to fit the theme from Great Britain and Norway; there were others but I liked these three best.

Great Britain
This was one of the set issued on 16 January 2001 - "Rights of the Child, Face Paintings"

From Norway it is women that were commemorated.

Norway - United Nations Womens' Year 1975
My second stamp from Norway shows a flower but its name is hidden by the postmark.

    The face painting of a flower stamp from Great Britain is really beautiful! It's summer here in the Philippines and I feel like getting one for myself for the cheery summer vibe! :D

    I recognise last as the Common Spotted Orchid, I remember seeing a whole fell-side of them of Scotland, what a sight. By coincidence I posted its cousin the Marsh spotted on my other blog this week.

    I absolutely love the face painting stamp! The kid looks as it was having a blast - that's how we should remember our childhood!

    Interesting stamps as always Bob. I find, because of your blogs, I am paying more attention to stamps I get, not many nowadays, most people email.

    I don't remember that British one at all. Normally when I see old British stamps, there is a vague familiarity about them, a memory of seeing them on some letter falling through some letter box. But that one passed me by.
