Welcome Autumn
Fine photos as usual Bob. Autumn is one of my favourite time of year.
ReplyDeleteRe your dynamic layout, took me a few seconds to work out how to post a comment.
Great fall shots. I like all the apples ready for eating. Your fall and our fall is almost the same. We are a few weeks late this year.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful time of the year, but quite amazing how it can be differently viewed in much the same way.
ReplyDeleteThomas Hardy - Last Week in October
The trees are undressing, and fling in many places--
On the gray road, the roof, the window-sill
Their radiant robes and ribbons and yellow laces;
A leaf each second so is flung at will,
Here, there, another and another, still and still.
Philip Larkin - Autumn
The air deals blows: surely too hard, too often?
No: it is bent on bringing summer down.
Dead leaves desert in thousands, outwards, upwards,
Numerous as birds; but the birds fly away,
Great pictures. Love the last one, the blackberries. We had a huge blackberry bush in our backyard when I was growing up. I can remember many a time gorging ourselves on them right off the bush. Mmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI really like the new layout, Bob. It's delightfully spare, which lets your photos shine even more.
ReplyDeleteI've been mulling going the dynamic route, as well. I don't think I've touched my template since I first launched the blog. Maybe it's time...
Ms. Kilmer's right on. Trees are indeed poetry. As is your series of pics here. Just lovely!
Beautiful photos... I'm a great tree lover too. And the blackberries make my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteI have tried this layout a couple of times, but haven't been tempted to apply it. I'm a creature of habit, I guess.
I Like The New Look Bob! Grand Photos.Autumn Is With Us.A Lovely Time Of Year [as long as it stays dry!]
ReplyDeleteLove the fall photos, you captures it all - the berries, apples...
ReplyDeleteAs far as the layout goes...I like the new layout options, but when I came here it appeared as the "classic" view and one needs to click on the other types of views (magazine for instance) to view it the other ways.
I love the first 2... Changing of the leaves is my favorite as well as the blanket formed on the ground by them..
ReplyDelete( overall I love this layout)
ReplyDeletethe images.
where to start?!
I shall be revisiting, so i'm not stalking, just needing to come back to these....
you appear to have scooped up everything and i can almost smell the apples
The pics capture autumn perfect! And your layout is great :)
