Docked - Thematic Photography

My posts this weekend all have a Norway theme (Sepia Saturday at Rosenberg Verft, and Ula First Day for Sunday Stamps). I have maintained the connection with these photos from Stavanger taken in the 1980s.

SS Norway visited Stavanger and drew a large crowd of onlookers at the harbour which is right in the centre of town.

    Oh, I like that top one very much.
    Norway, eh? That's a country I've missed in my various travels (although I've been to Sweden, Denmark, and even Finland).

    I like the winter boat photo. When you look at it, you can almost hear the quiet and stillness.

    Well in a few months I'll enjoy the first photo...but the ship photos are of the finest gift to the eyes so far....I just love the sea and the fine crafts that sail it....nice post Bob! I finally got back and put my entry in as well!
